How Many Days will the 1688 Supplier Automatically Confirm Receipt of the Goods after Delivery?

If your 1688 order is protected through Alipay's guaranteed-transaction system, there's a clear default timeline for when the transaction completes automatically.
The 10-Day Rule
If Alipay is used to guarantee the transaction, the system will automatically complete the transaction and pay the seller directly 10 days after the date of delivery — but only if the buyer hasn't confirmed receipt or applied for a refund within that window.
In other words: once your order shows as delivered, you have a 10-day grace period to inspect the goods and either confirm receipt or open a refund request. If you take no action, the platform assumes everything is fine and releases payment to the seller automatically.
What This Means in Practice
If you don't see automatic confirmation happen within 10 days of delivery, it usually means one of two things: the buyer manually extended the receipt confirmation window, or a refund request was already filed on the order. In either case, the transaction won't auto-complete until that extension or refund process resolves.
Why This Matters for Dropshippers
If you're inspecting goods before they ship on to your own customers — or coordinating quality checks through an agent — this 10-day window is your effective deadline to catch problems and open a dispute before the seller is paid automatically. Building inspection and confirmation into your standard supplier workflow (rather than letting orders sit unchecked) helps you avoid losing your window to dispute a bad shipment.
